It's decorative gourd season, my friends. (If you don't know this reference, look it up immediately for a good 2009-style laugh!) I throw these on the wheel as I would a vase, then closing the neck up completely and twisting into a stem.
This pumpkin is a maroon-ish color mottled with lavender and orange, with a green speckled stem.
